Dave concentrates on Franchise, Distribution, and Real Estate law.
Dave’s experience as a former in-house attorney with an international franchise company allows him to understand legal representation from both the client and the legal perspectives. His work involves representing franchisors from early stage to multi-national companies, with franchise registration, disclosure, general corporate, supplier, international expansion, mergers and intellectual property issues.
Dave has a great deal of experience negotiating commercial agreements with vendors, service providers, purchasers, distributors and freight companies domestically and internationally. He has negotiated shipping agreements for goods destined to Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Dave has also negotiated distribution and sourcing agreements for products on three continents and negotiated distribution and transportation agreements for food products pursuant to a nationwide distribution system serving 5,000 franchise units. David has experience with a variety of industries, including food service, airlines, fly fishing, QSR and retail, among others.
In the commercial real estate arena, Dave concentrates on acquisitions, sales and leasing. He has led a team of lawyers and paralegal who have renegotiated over 300 leases on behalf of the franchisor to reduce franchisees’ base rent in a down market.
Prior to joining Moye White, Dave served as corporate counsel for Quiznos Subs.
